The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Vermont Health is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join our group of eight physicians in Vermont.
We provide radiation oncology services to the University of Vermont Health in Burlington, the academic medical center of our health system, as well as four additional sites across Vermont and New York. We are recruiting for a full-time physician to join our Burlington, Vermont practice. We are looking for a candidate who can bring subspecialty expertise and contribute to the growth of our academic mission, with an emphasis on clinical trials. This position is structured as 0.8 clinical FTE with 0.2 FTE dedicated to academic and non-clinical support.
The University of Vermont Health is the only tertiary referral center for the catchment area of northern Vermont and Northern Upstate New York, and it is a referral center for Pediatric Oncology as well as a number of surgical subspecialties including Neurosurgery, ENT and Gynecologic Oncology.
Across our three sites, the group sees over 1,200 new patients each year and delivers approximately 25,000 treatments. We have a total of five IGRT-capable linear accelerators (three at UVM Health), and perform stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy and high-dose rate brachytherapy. The medical community is supportive and vibrant. The department is an integral part of the University of Vermont Cancer Center and there is an expectation that a successful candidate will have academic skills and interest to support an increasingly academic practice.
This is a Clinical Scholar Pathway position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor. We are seeking a board certified or eligible radiation oncologist.

The compensation package is competitive, and faculty rank is commensurate with experience.
The anticipated salary ranges for this position is $440,000 – $520,000
