Podiatrist – Middlebury, VT


The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Vermont Health is seeking a podiatrist for a full-time position at our Porter Medical Center location in Middlebury, VT. In this role, the selected applicant will play a pivotal part in transforming the lives of patients through comprehensive care.

Qualifications: 

  • Must have completed a CPME approved podiatric medical/surgical residency
  • Certified in podiatric surgery required
  • Valid and unrestricted license in Vermont (or ability to obtain post hire)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical examinations of the feet and lower extremities
  • Development treatment plans, which may include prescribing medications, orthotics, or surgical interventions
  • Perform surgical procedures for deformities or injuries
  • Provide patient education on foot care and preventive measures
  • Diagnose conditions such as diabetes-related foot issues, fractures, and infections
