Porter Medical Center is seeking a part-time family medicine physician (MD/DO) for a busy outpatient practice located in Vergennes, Vermont.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, ranging in complexity.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that encompass medical, lifestyle, and preventative measures.
Manage an average of 14-16 patients per day, adjusting based on the complexity of cases.
Demonstrate proficiency in patient-centered communication and provide clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
