Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) is seeking a full-time General Neurologist to join our team. This position offers the unique opportunity to practice in a vibrant community setting while maintaining strong ties to an academic medical center. CVPH is known for its commitment to clinical excellence and its deep connection to the North Country community.


Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $300,000 – $335,000
  • Loan forgiveness available (if eligible)

Position Details

  • Full-time clinical role (1.0 FTE)
  • General neurology practice managing a wide range of conditions, including:
    • Epilepsy
    • Stroke
    • Movement disorders
    • Neuromuscular disorders
    • Neuroimmunology
    • Headaches
  • Diagnostic capabilities include EMG/nerve conduction studies and standard/ambulatory EEG testing
  • Strong referral network and collaboration with UVM Health subspecialists for complex cases
  • Primarily outpatient practice, with limited inpatient and ED consultations
  • Opportunities for teaching residents and medical students

Requirements

  • Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Subspecialty training preferred but not required
