Board Certified Family Physician
Assistant/Associate/Professor of Family Medicine
The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine and The University of Vermont Health is seeking a board-certified/eligible family physician to join the full-time faculty. This appointment at the University of Vermont will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level (1.0 FTE) in the Clinical Scholar Pathway commensurate with experience. The selected candidate will join a busy and collegial program. The position requires clinical focus within well-established medical homes. These Patient-Centered Medical Homes (PCMHs) have also been through a workforce transformation and are practicing and teaching population health management. Experience in Family-Medicine Obstetrics is required for this position. This clinical faculty member will be expected to provide Family Medicine- Obstetrics care, including prenatal care, the management of low risk (non-operative) labor and delivery and post-partum care, including the care of the mother and newborn. The position is located at Family Medicine- Milton, which is the residency site for the UVM Family Medicine Residency. Teaching experience is required, and the faculty will be expected to supervise Family Medicine residents in both primary care and Family Medicine Obstetrics.

Our 7:7:7 residency program is fully accredited by the ACGME, and we are national leaders in full scope Family Medicine training. Our residency program combines the best of a University-Based training program at a tertiary care Medical Center based in Burlington, VT, and the rural educational opportunities in our state of Vermont.
