Porter Medical Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in scenic Middlebury, Vermont, and serves as a vital healthcare resource for the surrounding communities. Porter offers inpatient, outpatient, and specialty services, along with a network of primary and specialty care practices throughout the region. As one of the largest employers in Addison County, Porter is deeply committed to its mission: "To improve the health of our community, one person at a time."

Position Highlights

  • Full-scope obstetrics and gynecology practice
  • Provide care to patients throughout all stages of life
  • Collaborate closely with a highly experienced team of Certified Nurse Midwives and Women's Health providers
  • 1:4 OB/GYN call schedule
  • Call is primarily backup to Certified Nurse Midwives, who take first call
  • Monthly outreach gynecology clinic in Ticonderoga, New York
  • Mix of outpatient clinic, surgical procedures, and obstetrical care

What We're Looking For

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary care team
  • Passion for serving a close-knit community
