Summary
University of Vermont Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at the FitzPatrick Cancer Center, part of Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital located in Plattsburgh, New York.
The APP will see approximately 10 – 12 patients per clinic shift, conducting pre-treatment and long-term follow-up visits, managing symptoms associated with chemotherapy and radiation treatments, and may include some coverage for infusion therapies.
This role offers a strong blend outpatient follow-up care, meaningful physician collaboration, and the opportunity to work with a highly experienced and supportive team. Consistent with the values of UVM Health, the APP will always practice with the highest standards of patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years clinical APP-level oncology experience. New graduates with experience caring for oncology patients in previous positions, clinical rotation(s) in oncology, and a demonstrated interest in specializing may be considered. Success in this position will require extensive knowledge of disease processes, chemotherapy administration, symptom management, supportive care, and patient education.
