University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine / University of Vermont Medical Center

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at the University of Vermont is seeking a full-time Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) physician to join our growing, collegial academic division in Burlington, Vermont. This opportunity is ideal for an individual committed to clinical excellence, education, and advancing reproductive medicine within a supportive academic environment.


Position Highlights:

  • Join a dynamic and expanding REI Division within a leading academic medical center
  • Opportunity for appointment as Assistant, Associate, or Professor (rank aligned with experience)
  • Optional leadership opportunity as Program Director for the ACGME-accredited REI fellowship
  • Participate in a growing IVF and fertility program including IVF, fertility preservation, reproductive surgery, and endocrine care
  • Work alongside a full-time, onsite PhD IVF Laboratory Director
  • Collaborate across specialties including Hematology/Oncology, Urology, Endocrinology, and others
  • Teach and mentor fellows (1 per year; 3 active fellows) and medical trainees
  • Engage in clinical, translational, and/or outcomes-based research
  • Practice within a physician-led, mission-driven academic model with strong faculty autonomy
  • Protected academic time and mentorship aligned with promotion pathways

Program & Division Overview:

  • Rapidly growing IVF program with expanding clinical scope and volume

Required Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Completion (or in progress) of REI fellowship training
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Vermont
