Job Description

The Alice Hyde Medical Center (AHMC) Gastroenterology team is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care to adult patients in Malone, New York.

This outpatient-focused role offers the opportunity to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of GI conditions while helping expand access to specialty care in the North Country and collaborating with providers across UVM Health.

Schedule

Full-time, 1.0 FTE
40 hours per week
Outpatient clinic setting
No call responsibilities
No weekend coverage
Telemedicine component serving New York patients

What You'll Do

Evaluate and manage adult GI patients
Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
Order and interpret diagnostic testing
Develop treatment plans and provide patient education
Coordinate care with GI specialists across UVM Health
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and support staff

What We're Looking For
Required

Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State (or eligible for licensure)
Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience, GI experience preferred
Eligible for DEA registration
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred

NP Gastroenterology experience
Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Hospital Medicine experience
Interest in specialty GI care

Compensation

$67.48- 89.97/hr.
